Sulzer Turbo Services Venlo, established as Elbar in 1973, is specialized in repair of industrial gas turbines and steam turbines. Over the years, the company has been able to respond to the specific requirements of the turbine industry by continuously developing proprietary repair methods, new repair processes as well as a wide selection of life extending coatings for hot and cold sections of turbines. The key to successes is a strong emphasis on research and development, a dedicated, experienced and extensively trained staff, supported by continuous investment in innovative technologies.
Sulzer Turbo Services Venlo operates worldwide, offering services to public utilities, oil & gas industry, chemical plants, overhaul shops and manufacturers of turbines. Our services include repair of heavy-duty gas turbines, small gas turbines, aero derivatives, combustion hardware repair and manufacturing, steam turbines and expanders. In the past years we have experienced a rapid growth and expansion of facilities and capabilities.

Since many years Sulzer Turbo Services Venlo is the largest, most sophisticated independent industrial turbine component shop in the world, with 4 dedicated shops for heavy duty gas turbine component repair, derivative component repair, combustion hardware repair and manufacturing, rotor and stator assembly repair, overhaul and commissioning.

Sulzer Turbo Services Venlo is a certified ISO 9001 and Rolls Royce CQC 103 repair facility.
