GE Frame 6B European User Conference
Every two years the Dutch Gas Turbine Association organises the GE Frame 6B European User Conference; a three-day event. The last and 4th conference took place from 9 to 11 February 2011 in Budapest, Hungary.
Target group for this event
The conference is aimed at European users of the GE Frame 6B gas turbine: engineers, rotating equipment / control specialists and supervisory staff, engaged in the operation and maintenance of this type of gas turbine.
Programme of the 2011 conference
The first day was devoted to user problems, operation experience and maintenance issues. In the afternoon a shop tour was organized to the GE Facility Veresegyház.
GE delegates gave technical presentations on the second day. They were available for answering specific questions in round table discussions. In the afternoon several 3rd party providers presented their technical capabilities with respect to the GE Frame 6B Gas Turbine and presented their products and services at a 3rd party vendor fair.
Next conference in 2013
The next GE Frame 6B European User Conference is planned for January/February 2013.
